What defines an extraordinary internal auditor, and who represents the future of the profession?

The search for tomorrow’s internal audit leaders is on. Internal Auditor magazine will recognize up-and-coming internal audit professionals in its October 2023 issue.

Nominations are now open until May 19,2023.

Nominate an Emerging Leader

To be eligible all nominees must be members of The IIA and have, or be actively working toward, The IIA’s Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) certification, and must be age 30 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2023.

The magazine will not feature more than one emerging leader from the same company. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Nominators will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire and provide statements about their nominee’s performance in the areas of business acumen/leadership, service to the profession, community service, and innovative thinking.

We request the Nominator’s personal data so that we can contact them with any queries we might have. We request the Nominee’s personal data to assess their eligibility, credentials, and so we can interview them for the article.

We retain nominations for 12 months. Nominators and nominees may reach out to privacy@theiia.org at The IIA to discuss or understand how their data is processed and their rights.
