For many years, I volunteered for my local Relay for Life fundraising event sponsored by the American Cancer Society (ACS). So, joining ACS was a natural transition in my career that aligned with my desire to make a more meaningful impact with my internal audit work.
The Internal Audit Services team contributes to ACS’s mission by working with business leaders to promote risk awareness, enhance operational processes, and deliver timely insights that aid executives and board members in risk-informed decision-making.
I’m proud to work for an organization whose mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. ACS works to ensure everyone can fight cancer at every stage. Supporting our employees’ life-saving work gives me a greater sense of purpose while performing the work I enjoy.
